HostView is available for MacOS and Linux.


We need data from as many users as possible for at least one month. While some of the data we are interested in is collected passively, user feedback relies mainly on your input and your willingness to answer the questionnaire when prompted to do so: (i) either upon clicking on the “I am annoyed” button at every episode of bad network performance or (ii) when the network experience questionnaire pops-up.

Attention Mac Users: Please make sure to keep X11 open when HostView is running. You can close xterm but if you close X11, you won't be able to answer the network experience questionnaire or check your network usage.
